life as I understand it is best lived through total dedication to ones chosen vocation, which in my case is that of an educator. Among the various choices one makes in life, ones profession defines ones motivation in life, mine would be to improve the lives of my students and to be inspired by the growth I envision in their lives. I am devoted to my parents and my small family and believe that my life partner has to be someone who can fit into my family set up with his gursikh thoughts and conduct, and to improve the quality of life through reading and understanding and consequently using the precepts of gurbani in day to day life. I live the life of any other wordly sikh woman, but question the limits of indulgence and involvement in our widely pervasive materialistic pursuits.
